Michael had a deep interest in technology from a young age, devouring library books on languages while at school. After completing his bachelor's, he learned how technology could support business needs working as a technology consultant. About 6 years ago he made the transition into Identity and Access Management, in doing so discovering an entirely new world in which people and security were central. This led him to cyber resilience and created a passion for the business enablement it can bring. He has worked with federal, state, and local governments and across industry sectors such as energy, health, education, finance, construction, and telecommunications.

The speaker will cover both the technology and psychological factors that covid has introduced, and what we as cybersecurity professionals can do about it.
